"Anyways, does anyone know how to play? All I know how to do is eat, sleep and-" " Be a jerk" Vanita cut in.
"Hmph!" Pearl cried. " got any ideas Maleficent?"

"Okay," she said aloud. " Oh and whoever finds the least gets a peck to the neck!" she smiled.

"If you keep rolling your eyes like that," retorted Pearl, " They'll get stuck in the back of your head!" She giggled at the funny image and tromped off to look for worms.

Pearl was relatively new to the flock, only being there about two weeks, but she made her status known. She had spurs: a trait some hens had, which only helped her boss others around.

Pearl stopped. A large beetle buzzed through the air. Pearl poised and lunged; catching the huge beetle. "Here, Maleficent", she offered. " You can have it" she dropped the beetle in front of Maleficent's feet and continued on in search of food.
