So this is my project that I started yesterday. So far I have spent $0.00 on this project. :)

Started by putting bricks down where the coop was going to be. Then placed the bottom skid on the bricks and made sure it was level.

Next I put up the walls. Again using skids.

Then I put the roof on.

Put up some interior walls.

Outside walls went on. Here you can also see the roof. There are no Windows. Light comes in through the roof. It is fiberglass.

Will share some more pictures soon. If you have any questions please go ahead.

I love this. How many ducks can live in here? I have two ducks that are living with my chickens right now...but they need their own home.

I have 10 ducklings in it right now. I got it finished this evening. Will post pictures tomorrow of the finished building. It isn't fancy but does the job. By the way there would be plenty of room for two full size ducks in this building.

So the only thing that needs to be finished is the ramp. I need to locate two hinges so that the ramp will also serve as a door. Here are the pictures of what is done.

I made it so that the whole front of the building is a giant door. This way it is easy to clean out.

And here are the ducklings.enjoying their pool.

I will gladly try to answer any questions.

Yes they do need the steps to get in and out and this is one of the small kiddie pools. I chose bricks due to the fact that they will not decompose in the water and they will not move easily under them or get slippery like wet wood. :)

I like it, the only thing is ventilation or do you not lock them up?
