A week or so back I posted about the name of my coop. It's the Winchester Chicken house. Named after the famous Winchester Mystery House in San Jose CA. I got the birthday present sign mounted and took a photo.

The original coop/run was built by Tucker Coops in Pa....it is the 5x8 Nancy model and when we got it here, I thought the girls could use some more room so hubby built the additional run-another 5x8 section. He did a great job matching up everything. We added the raise foundation to get it level on the site.....I wanted it to be in a shady area

turned out to be a lot more work than we expected....but was worth it in the end.

The rule was "whoever makes the sign gets to name the coop". My niece painted the sign for me as a very special Christmas gift. The front is an actual view of our farm, the back has the girls names. My coop is now Bocking Hen Palace.
