Coop names - GO!

Help us work out a name for our chicken run & coop. I am NOT set on these names.. they are just the best I could come up with

I am honestly surprised that I couldn't find another thread dedicated to coop names. I was hoping to find some inspiration there.

1. The egg shed
2. The golden eggspress
3. Roosting eggscape
4. Nesting bay
5. The nesting society
6. The Library (husband's pick- cause it has bock bock bocks)
7. The Bockshelf
8. Other?? Suggestions!

Notes to help with naming if you're going outside of the options above for your answer:

Its not huge. The breeds are varied. We don't free range them. We are a family with young children living in a remote town in QLD, Australia.

Maybe something with facebook but chicken themed? Facebock? Although the library is very funny. Our coop doesn't have a name, we just say "the chickies".

What color is your coop? I named my last one Paisley Palace cause it was purple…not that I ever called it that except in my head. Usually my coops are named things like the tractor coop, the A-frame, the monitor, etc after their structure as opposed to anything cool. Right now I have a tractor but the Paisley Palace was basically a two-storey purple box so it kind of needed a more creative name

The realist - nice . I usually go more for that, but i feel obliged to give the coop a name since i have little kids and i want to make it extra fun for them. Paisley Palace is cute! There's nothing about the structure or colour of it that really stands out to use in the name for mine unfortunately.

Of your choices, I like The Golden Eggspress the most.

I named mine based on the coop’s attributes.

So, I have the

• Muddy Run (open-air coop that’s always muddy ‘cause the roof leaks)
• Yellow Turnip (yellow shed that is forever falling apart)
• Beach House (low rambling green and white duck house)

And the Red Coop (the first - I wasn’t very creative back then).

I vote for The Library, oh wow that's fun! Mine was a play on my last name, but I know that's not always applicable.
