Coop on the ground or off the ground?

My house is off the ground approximately 2 feet. I live in the city and won't free range the birds and the whole run is only 10' x 10' and entirely enclosed by hardware cloth. So I raised the house to maximize the run space available. I'll use some of the space for storing materials and feed. It's secure and covered. Plus it's easier to clean inside the house with the outside access door being waist high.
