Wow... this contest has been going on so long that I entered my first coop, skipped my 2nd coop (an ugly hoop-coop - LOL) and am now entering my 3rd big coop project!

We have recycled a 1970's horse trailer into a coop, grow out pen, storage, and 2 broody hen/injured bird confinement areas... for less than what buying one of those Amish-style 6'x8' coops would have cost. Check it out here:
