Hi y'all! Anyone know acceptable paint to use for coop that I can get at Lowes? I am trying to raise them organically but I am not super stringent with it. just want to do it right. any suggestions appreciated. I am painting over a already painted coop and then we are adding on a run.

Clean the coop well before painting.
Get an exterior grade latex paint in satin or gloss finish for easier cleaning.
They don't eat paint unless is it poorly adhered and they can peel it off so I wouldn't worry too much about the "organic" aspect of it.

DobieLover is right on choice of finishes. Do use a latex exterior primer first and you'll double the life of your finishes. I generally don't paint the inside of the coop, just what is more exposed to the weather. We are as organic as we can be these days
