Coop Question

My husband is wanting to build our coop, but I am at a loss to what kind we should build. Once these sweets are grown they will be in our yard free range 50% of the time and in the coop 50% of the time. We have a 6'x6' dog pen we will use & need a small house to go inside.

What is everyones favorite or least favorite type of coop/chicken house?? We need it on the small side (nothing huge like a shed size).. Any thoughts?
