darn smart girl!!!!!!Featherhead, plans are now drawn. Thanks for the encouragement. Lots of women here have built coops--makes me feel more confident. Now to figure #'s for materials. I'm used to designing quilts so I can use the same math --I LOVE graph paper. I'm planning on exterior plywood under the steel both for keeping warmth in the coop in the winter and some strength against the winds we have. I don't want to do just the steel for those reasons but don't want to mess with shingles. LOL I really want a metal roof on my house. I will try to figure out the scan option on my printer to scan the diagrams in.
LOL wood pieces not so different than fabric.. right. Inches, feet, angles , joints to put them together.... Hey can't figure out how anyone can remodel a house (doing that) without using amazing quilting rulers. No idea if you are a quilter.darn smart girl!!!!!!
jer my chicken run was made of fabric using your math! thank youLOL wood pieces not so different than fabric.. right. Inches, feet, angles , joints to put them together.... lol jeria, when I was building, I'd go to bed tired, but my brain kept going around planning next steps and figuring material , etc. instead of dropping off to sleep.
You CAN do this, I know you can. Best of luck and
you go , girl!
