I’m wondering what kind of security cameras everyone has in their coops? I’m looking for something inexpensive that I can use my phone with, while being anywhere!!

I use Wyze cameras. They have to be plugged in and you download an app for your phone.

You can also remotely record video with them.
Newly hatched chicks:

You can catch your crowing hen (the audio alignment with the video is off):

And you can set up the camera to record motion during specified times of the day:

Do they use wifi?

I have a blink. $35 at best buy. It requires power and WiFi coverage. If you want cloud storage you need to pay a fee. I don't pay any fees so I can only watch the live view on my phone. Mine is an indoor version. It is in the coop out of the weather so I think it is fine. They do have a outdoor version if you want something that is made to be outdoor.

It has a microphone so you can hear what is going on. Also you can talk to your chickens if you want.

I just bought a blink camera... Can you save the videos to your phone?

looks like I need to buy the subscription plan or the sync model (+plus Flash Drive) to record video.

So after the 30 days you need to subscribe to the subscription plan or else you can’t get the live recording?
