I have a door to the run but I have dilemma when we go on vacation. Our chickens will be 9 weeks when we leave for a week and the person that was going to take care of them is not going to be around now. By 9 weeks they will have been in the coop for a good 4 weeks, I am fine on the food and water situation it's just letting them out in the morning and then back in at night. Can I keep the door open for the week?
I pretty sure I have a secure run/coop so no predators can get in.
