Coop run ground cover

Nope it's all good info. I'm going to start my deep litter this weekend. Like that list, makes it easier to figure out what to start with.
 
I'm going to start with leaves, pine needles, straw, hay, twigs for Browns. And I'll get some veggies, save my egg shells, and grass clippings and see what happens.
 
Yes I keep my eggs shells after I use the eggs for the dogs or something and let them dry in a bag out on the porch and crunch them all up and I put them out in an old metal feeder to provide extra calcium
 
Well I'm not going to get to it until the weekend. I'm in west central Indiana and we are having a pretty good winter storm today and tmrw. Which will bury the leaves with snow! As soon as the snows gone I'll gather my things and post some pics on this thread.

This snow is nasty......wet and heavy and sticking to run mesh...gahhhh!!!
 
Yes I know I'm in pa and we had a good winter with over 21 inches of snow and today it's raining and spring is on its way
