Coop & Run Nearly Finished!!

We started on the coop and run in Dec. and have worked on it off and on. Just a few more things to do and it will be ready. Got my chicks 2 weeks ago and can't wait for them to be big enough to put in their new home. I've got 6 Golden Comets and can't believe how much I already love these girls. Looks great! I'm almost finished my duck coop too! I just need to paint a bit more orange, and some fun finishing touches. I want to build a small roof garden to help with the Texas heat as well as provide some ducks "snacks" and herbs for us. I've got a little planning to do on that still. The nest will house 3 ducks. We have a separate run for them when we are not home, otherwise they are free to run around anywhere in our yard.

Excellent job! I took a very similar approach in constructing mine and adding white molding to all edges! Really adds to the finished product!
