The trees around the area look like they give a lot of welcome shade for the chickens.

I heard silkies are exellent hatchers are you going to hatch eeggs with them?

hi!! yes, the trees are great, i have one very large hickory that's just starting to get its leaves on, will be a tremendous amount of shade for them, & yes the "girls & roo" just love it!! as far as the silkies, if i ever get them, (waiting on the feed store) the order got messed up! ill just have them for pets.
