Coop Siding Question

Got a pic of this shed?
Are you going to use the shed as a coop,
or tear it apart and use the wood to build anew?

I’m working on getting s picture of the shed. The plan is to take all 4 shed walls and cut them down to the dimensions I need to build the henhouse. I hope the shed has a shingled roof because that would be great to use for the henhouse roof.

If the shed is structurally sound, I'd just use the shed.
If it's not, the wood you get from it probably isn't in good shape either.

Ok I will keep that in mind. I have texted my aunt to send me pictures of the shed so hopefully I’ll post pictures soon. If the shed is structurally sound then I guess I’ll just modify my run dimensions to accommodate it.

Hopefully there's something in the pic to give scale, or could she measure it?
Do you have the capacity to move an intact shed?

I asked her for the dimensions as well. I am renting a UHaul truck to transport all the wood and shed from my aunt’s property to mine. My dad and my uncle will be able to helping me to move all the wood onto the truck. If worse comes to worse I’ll just take the shed apart wall by wall and reassemble it once I get it to my house.

So, will it be usable as is? Or are the holes on the side not fixable? Looks like peeling paint on the front? Plus, you get all of that extra lumber? Nice.

It’s definitely usable and sturdy. I will either cover the holes with plywood or replace that section of wall. I think I’ll repaint it. I get all that extra lumber I may also add some support studs inside the shed.
