Alright, So after a lot of though I have decided to keep my bantams...that means building them a coop...So here is the question...How much room does each bantam need? I know what standards should have but I cant find it anywhere for bantams. They will have a very large run, Im not worried about the size of their run because it will be more than enough for them, nice and big!! but the coop is what I cant decide on.

Thanks!

Well...many say 2 sq. ft. per bantam chicken in the housing, but I still use the 4 sq. ft. general guideline myself, as some bantam breeds are quite active (I'm in an area that gets winters).

A minimum of 4 square feet per chicken is what I use for our bantams, too. It's not as though that number is roomy, either. You'll never be sorry to have built your coop too large, only if you build it too small.
