Coop sliding door for chickens

Awesome!! What kinda of wood did you use? Would you suggest me putting the door and rails on the outside of the coop or the inside of the coop?

I would put it on the inside, and add an awning to protect it from the rain/snow.

I can get some better pictures at some point if anyone is interested. This was part of a tunnel / bridge between the coop and run.

The door is a cutting board and the track is wall shelf brackets. I also have a bar that goes through the shelf brackets above the cutting board, so it can't be lifted up. I didn't want to use wood, in case it would swell and not slide easy. I hardly ever used it, my coop and run were open 24/7, since my run was very well predator proof.
