Coop stud spacing

I saw this same build in my search. I think it's what I plan to do as well since it will be easier to keep everything together. I went to lowes this morning, they are selling off all their old severe weather treated lumber. I was able to pick up several 2x4x8 for .80 a piece. Gonna go in the morning and pick up a few more. Cant beat that price anywhere.

What is the norm for stud spacing on Center when building the Wichita style coop. I plan on building this style coop but with an overall 8 by 16 foot print with a 5 by 8 coop. I have been trying to reach out to the baldessari clan in hopes of purchasing their plans to go by but have been unsuccessful in contacting them either through email or telephone. I have looked at several different coops and most appear to either be four foot on Center or three foot on Center. 2 foot on Center to me seems like a little Overkill but would help with the Rafterr spacing I'm guessing. I've searched at my local home improvement store but seems they only carry hardware cloth in two and three foot widths which I guess Narrows my options
