Go with as much roof over hang as you can. Keep the floor dry and cool.
I used $1.25 6' dog eared fence boards to cover my wire after putting on the outside. Fence boards are cheap and treated wood. Animals can't pull at the seams of the wire and it give the coop a finished look.

I used a pneumatic stapler driving 1 1/4 inch staples for my HC and then put wood trim over the staples.
I also like Barn Red with white trim with jus a splash of color.
