coop unrest

There is nothing unusual about white Easter Eggers. Easter Eggers can be any color or pattern.

There could be a whole lot of different reasons why they are not laying, age and possibly molting being two of them. Over the internet we really can’t tell without a lot more information, and even then it would probably be just a guess.

I agree on both points. Here is a "sticky" thread from the top of the section. Maybe it will help. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/423023/why-arent-my-chickens-laying-here-are-your-answers

Also, I have tons of all-white EEs. They are all Leghorn/Ameraucana crosses.

Maybe molting.....lots of white feathers....but they look good?......I have saw pictures that looked bad.....they look good....I have had them since August......could they be molting that long????

You have fast molters and slow molters. It’s not about how fast the feathers grow back but how fast they lose them. A fast molter will dump a lot of feathers at a time and look really awful. A slow molter will only lose a few feathers at a time. You might not even notice they are molting except for the feathers laying around. The really slow molters can take four of five months, though most don’t.

By August, the days are getting shorter. The stress of moving to a new home along with the days getting shorter may have kicked them into a full molt. It’s possible, but remember this is just a guess over the internet.
