Can someone help me out and maybe give me some ideas on building a coop.I'm new to this

We have a wonderful "search" feature in the blue navigation bar at the top. It is really handy.

A coop does not have to be super expensive or really fancy but it does have to be functional. Chickens need shelter from driving wind and rain and if they are in cold country they will need to be out of the cold. In hot country, you will want lots of ventilation. A sleeping chicken is a dead chicken if you don't take the proper measures to insure that it has a safe place to be. Most people usually have some sort of nesting boxes, a feeder or two, and a water source in their coop as well. Chicken wire usually does not keep any predator out. It just keeps the chickens inside. Hardware cloth is an awesome option but can be a bit pricey.
