I finally scored on craigslist a rather old but usable rabbit hutch with a double door & secure latch and hardward cloth for the screening. It sits about 8 inches off the ground, I paid 45.00 and will sand and paint it. I will need to add a small bar for the roost and a 2 nesting boxes and a ramp but I think and hoping I can create a 4x4 fence in area with using hardware cloth for the roof for maybe 100.00 or less, that may be wishful thinking. Do you think a 4x4 area fence and roof will be sufficent for the ladies? Thanks!
