Cooperative Cochins?

I am thinking about getting a Cochin pair from someone, but I am worried about them trying to fight the chickens I already have. Will they get along, or do all chickens fight at first?

More than likely, your chickens will be the ones beating up on the cochins.

If you do get them, make sure you quarantine them away from your chickens for at least a month, no matter who you get them from.
Before you put them with your chickens, put them next to each other for as long as it takes for them not to fight through the fencing before you turn them together. There will still be the battle for rank, but that should lessen it some.
