Have a plan for if you do get a boy.
I would anticipate getting one. It's common. Last two times I got chicks I got 1 rooster in a batch and 2 in another.

I know my friend that I’m splitting the order with will take one but if there’s two…oof, I’ll have to figure that one out!

I completely understand, its not fun dealing with boys when you don't like to dispatch of them yourself.
I hatched 4 chicks 1-1.5 months ago and at least two are boys...

I want to hatch chicks next year and I know that comes with sure males so I’ll definitely have to have a plan for that!

Hatching is quite fun so go for it! But yes, have a plan for those boys. (who knows what you'll get with hatching, you could get all boys.)

I would cry lol but that’s ok. I know my kids and I will love the whole experience anyway!
