Thanks guys! The coop is 8x8 and the run is something like 20 x 10 feet. My husband has done most of the building. I designed it and did some of the roofing and will do all the painting.

We have 8 8-week old chicks living in a large dog crate! They are READY to run around and flap their wings! If we can get the hardware cloth up tomorrow, we'll move them over tomorrow! Problem is - we don't live where the coop is yet. We're also in the process of moving there. It's only 5 minutes away from our current house. Being able to have chickens was one of the main reasons we chose the new house!
