Coopless and I let my chickens free range the neighborhood

It sounds like the OP, in their other thread, had many issues with their coop. So, I would hope that a new coop would be built/ bought with plenty of ventilation.
A bad experience with a poorly designed coop is not a reason, IMO only, to just let the chickens roam.
I do believe that the chickens are healthier now, but only because they're away from that coop, not because they're neighborhood animals. If healthy chickens only existed due to the freedom to roam a neighborhood then many of us would not be here on our beloved BYC showing photos of our healthy, red combed, enclosed flock.
@Dead Diamonds I wish you no ill feelings. My opinion is just that, an opinion. I do however hope that a new coop is in your future and that your coop experience is not completely shattered now.
Again, best wishes.

This whole situation is kinda like refusing to ever get in a car again because you had the brakes fail on a really lousy car once.

@Dead Diamonds, your problems came not from keeping your chickens in a coop, but from keeping your chickens in a bad coop. You were given lots of good advice on how to make a better one in your last post. The logical thing to do here is to use a proper coop, not to decide that all coops are bad.

Here random pets coming into my yard get trapped and relocated to the pound.
To many years there has been cat poop and cats spraying in my garden. I don't want that in my veggies.
I also don't want random chickens having a nibble here and a nibble there ruining my harvest. I work hard to grow veggies in my garden on my property.

It is rude to your neighbors to allow your birds to roam in their yards.
In the coop issue thread there were lots of suggestions to improve the situation.
I hope that there are changes made before the neighbors make them for you.
