what are you housing your ducks in outside? We built our own chicken/duck coop for our first flock. the new ducks we have don’t get along with our first set of ducks so we now have front yard ducks and back yard ducks. I’m currently looking at tractor supply chicken coops but i’m not sure if they would be good for ducks so i’m looking for ideas please

For ducks, you should think big dog house, with a closing door and ventilation.
They don't need the perches, but you could try adding a nest box....they may or may not use it 😂

I am building mine out of reclaimed materials around the property. I will have one big duck house and a smaller one. Because like you I have a duck that isn't getting along with my smaller ducks. So separations were required.

Personally I would stay away from the prefab houses. Wasted money, in 2-3 years it will be falling apart or you have spent enough already keeping it together you could have built one cheaper..

Built a duck house from some left over lumber/materials, old adjustable bed frame (6’x3’), old small window for light and about $250 in materials from hardware store. Took about two weekends to build (work during the week). Have only built one other thing before and was a hodgepodge chicken tractor thingy. So it can be done by one person!

Must have linoleum type floor. They’re wet creatures.
