I'm literally writing an article about the cotton ball method right now!I usually use a wet qtip or wet (warm water) cotton ball to soak and gently clean. Doesn’t happen all the time but something to watch for
They're also great for fluffing the down while you dry them off.It's very important to observe the chicks on any signs of distress. I offered them electrolytes to keep them hydrated and check on the feces for any signs of diarrhea or blood. Keeping them warm is very important also, specially at night.
