I’m curious how well everyone’s chickens handle severe storms. Any unusual behavior that I should look for? Anything I can do to help them cope?
My chicks are 9 wks old. The severe storms that rolled through yesterday came with hail, 60mph wind and torrential rain. I closed up the coop windows before the storms and they have good shelter but they are afraid to come out of the coop.
The roof is metal so it must have been frightening during the hail. In time I know they will adjust.
