Copper Black Marans vs Black Copper Marans?

I'm fairly new to the Marans but very intrigued by their dark brown eggs. Likewise I am even more impressed with the Copper Black variety as they are beautiful and rather rare in my area. After "disaster" with the Copper Black Marans eggs I purchased (3 chicks out of 22 eggs) I've been searching the Internet for local breeders. I found someone in a neighboring state that raises Black Copper Marans and have been talking with them about purchasing eggs, chicks, or birds. My concern is are Copper Black Marans and Black Copper Marans the same bird or are they different? The appear identical in the pictures I've seen but I want to make sure I'm not investing in two different varieties. Thanks for any input...

They should be one and the same - people just use whats popular. The French actually call them Brown Red Marans.
