CopperMaran x BovanBrown ????

I have a small flock of BovanBrown hens & run a Black CopperMaran rooster with them. Was wondering if anyone has ever hatched any chicks from this mating?? If so, any & all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not specifically.. but if the Marans (always said with the S at the end) rooster comes from nice dark egg color genes... he will pass it to all of his female offspring.

I also love their disposition, hardiness, growth rate for the table, ability to raise young, on and on... Marans are great birds!
