Copper's Chicken Service: where do you take your chickens for a walk( do you? )

Do you have a chicken harness? If so, do you walk your chickens? Where do you walk them? I like to walk my polish rooster, Copper and some of my hens at the beach. Zhima the Ameraucana does not like to be walked, so I do not take her to the beach.

My chickens don’t even like being taken to the patio which is only a few meters away from their pen, yet to the beach. I’d love to be chilling on the beach and just see a chicken on a leash waddle up near me. It’s sounds so CUTE!

I have a harness for my hens. I take them to the park. They're not very good at walking a leash, so I'm either carrying them or following them around. Last hen I took to the park, Rocky, kept trying to get unto the picnic tables. Then she'd chase my brother around.

Watching this for ideas! I have a harness, and a girl who loves to wander, but I have no idea what palces would be safe to take her to! I worry about dogs, mostly, and laws about walking your livestock.

Me too on the dogs. And hawks. The other day when I had Rocky at the park, I literally had a hawk circling us! I couldn't believe it and it wouldn't leave! I picked her up and curled over her so the hawk couldn't see her anymore. Finally it left, but it was kinda getting me upset how it was circling us like that.

You never know! I live in the suburbs, and not all towns allow chickens. I imagine parks could have restrictions.

It's a small town park. There's a sign that says to clean up after your pet. I don't see anything about no chickens.

I live in the suburbs and where I live, chickens are allowed to be walked. The only rule about walking your pet is "Clean After Your Pet".
