I am wondering about copyrights on crochet patterns. Some don't say anything others do. I have seen ones that say for personal use only not for profit. Others that say you can sell the finished product. What about ones in books and magazines that don't say anything? Can I use them for profit? I am not selling the pattern but the finished product?

Thanks!

Copyright automatically belongs to the creator. It doesn't have to say COPYRIGHT on it for it to be under copyright.

If you follow directions like I do, then it will look nothing like the ORIGINAL, so you should be safe.
