Corbdee's Cookout

@Kiki @EmmaRainboe @MGG come look at my pippers
Congrats!!! Fingers crossed for a great hatch.
Keep an eye on the bruised one, looks like his head is towards the pointy end. He should be alright, especially once others start hatching. Do you have them upright or laying down to hatch? If upright I'd lay the bruised one down.

This egg doesn't look too good. Doesn't look ready to hatch at all.
I know, I'm not sure what else to do. The other end of the egg is pretty much all black, though, so considering he's malpositioned he may still be good.

Thanks!! So excited, I've just sat in front of the incubator all day watching the eggs wobble around 😆...it's torturous!
They're all laid down, I just took the pic as soon as I saw the pip, before I took the turner out or even opened the incubator at all.

I have 3 pippers total today. 1 has been at it all day, though, he's got a few 'pips' in his shell (keeps punching through around the same area every hour or so). Shouldn't be long til zip now.

2 ducklings now, one looks like a rouen/runner mix, the other looks like a mallard mix.

Y'all just put on lock orientation on your phones and flip it sideways for pics :barnie🙄. It won't post the pics right bc they're too many pixels but it's frustrating because I'd have to crop it to get each one right (which is hit and miss) so it takes forever for each pic.

Anyway, today another duckling hatched, he looks like a runner/mallard mix or a runner/KC mix, not quite sure yet as he's drying off. These two that are now in the brooder are a definite runner/mallard mix (looks like chocolate runner), and a possible mallard/Khaki Campbell mix, maybe even a mallard/rouen.

Also, I got my first hatchling down by the broodies!! Even though they started with 13 eggs and ended at 2, one of the two so far hatched. No pics yet, they're super territorial.

Couple of pic updates. The hatchling died because of a snake, so did the unhatched egg :(. But I got another duckling from the incubator and now I ended with 4 incubator hatchlings. Here's them from last Friday.
