Corid dosage

I have a rooster that I believe has coccidia. I have corid on hand and need to dose him. I do not want to treat a whole gallon as is the only dosage given. I have him separated in the house and would like to put a two cup waterer in his area. What amount of corrid do I add to the water, to be replaced several times daily for freshness. I intend on taking him to the vet but do not want to delay starting his treatment.

Why not make a gallon jug of the mixture and just use the jug to refill the two cup waterer a few times a day?

It is powder.

I also have acidified copper sulfate, which i have heard will treat coccidia as well as other issues. Which do you think is better?

I'm not aware of that treating coccidiosis. I think people use that to treat canker.

What makes you think he has coccidiosis?
Is he normally housed with other birds?
What are his symptoms?

Have you had to treat others in the past for coccidiosis? Is that why you have the Corid on hand?

He is four months old. I got him from a feed store and he was very sick as a chick and was treated for coccidia. He has all the symptoms, puffed up, hunched back, poor appetite, pale comb. He is now separated. Copper sulfate treats gleet, coccidia and mites. I just dont know if I should do corid or the copper sulfate.
