Corid question...

I acquired some silkie chicks last Thursday. By Sunday 1 died, 1 looked at fluffed up and lethargic, and i saw blood poops. Immediately started Corid treatment. I'm now on day 4 and another chick died today and the fluffed up one still doesn't look 100%. So my question is should i still stop treatment at day 5 or would it be safe to go a few more days?

Sorry for your loss. What dosage are you giving? You can continue to give it at the maximum dose another 2 days, and then it can be reduced to 1/4 the dose for an additional 5 days. The maximum outbreak dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water. If you have not been giving that high of a dose, then start it for 5-7 days. Also, a drench dosage can be given daily, and that is undiluted Corid 0.1 ml per pound given once a day directly into the beak.
