One of my 5 wk chicks has cocci. I went to TSC to get some corid. The only kind available was a bovine and it is in a bag. Is that what I use? How much do I put in water? And lastly, can the young turkey's drink it also...they are in with the chicks or should I separate them.
Corid is also used in turkeys, so they should be fine.
Usually I get the 9.6% solution (liquid). I assume your package is 20% soluble powder?
For treatment it says 4 oz per 50 gallons of water.
For prevention it is half this dose, but you want it for treatment, not prevention, correct?
I'll try to do the math here .....
So that would be 1 oz for 12.5 gallons of water. (1 oz = 30 cc) (note:1 teaspoon = 5 cc)
So, 2.4cc would be for 1 gallon of water, or about a half teaspooon. (half teaspoon = 2.5cc)
