Corid Smell?

Hey Y'all,
One of my chicks was very lethargic and another had passed with the same symptoms so i started all of them on corid. I change the water out every day, but at the end of each day the water stinks! It is from the corid. I'm almost sure there is nothing else in there that could cause the smell. Not sure if this is the right thread to be posting hope it's alright. Thanks and God Bless!

If I remember right, the stuff my vet gave me for coccidiosis was smelly too. I hope they get better, God bless! Sorry you lost one

Thanks for the quick response! My other chick is seeming to get a lot better praying she'll pull through! That's a bit of a relief kind of worried about the stink.

Is there any slime inside the waterer? I had to scrub the waterer because it got that gross slimy build up after a couple times. I just used an old dish scrubber and gave it a quick rinse. Otherwise keep doing what you're doing

There was a kind of film on the water so this time i added a tiny bit of soap and then washed it out really good. The stink was definitely lessened.

I have a bottle of Corid and you're right, it stinks abit. I never noticed it before. My bottle expires in November 2020. I'm sorry you lost a chick and the corid should do its job with the others, good luck.
