Corn auto feeder?

We just wanted to automate the treat feeding so they are in fact filling up with the layers pellets before having their treat.
Sure you can automate it.....have seen both deer and fish feeders used.
There's probably automatic chicken treaters available.

Why not just use a cat food timed dispenser? They will find it ... this one goes down to 2 teaspoons ... ... https://www.chewy.com/cat-mate-c3000-programmable-dry-food/dp/103151 how many chickens do you have?

BTW ... I'd be really surprised if your layer feed doesn't already have corn as an ingredient ... I know most here in the USA do ... look at your label.

I would use a deer feeder. The 5 gallon bucket ones are about $35 and can be filled and then hung up. You can let it fling the corn as it is designed to do and let them scratch for it, or you can cut both ends off of a feed bag (leaving a tube) and put the feeder in the tube so that the flung feed hits the inside of the bag and falls straight down to the ground.
