Corn flakes

Sounds like starchy filler to me. I wouldn't do it. It's not going to hurt them but I'd rather see them eat balanced nutritious feed designed for their real needs. OTOH, a small amount you just happen to be getting rid of isn't going to do any real damage.

PS I wouldn't eat them either for the same reason. ...just so you know where I'm coming from in case you feel differently.

Did you know cornflakes were invented so people in insane asylums wouldn't get exited about flavorful foods and thus behave themselves better? They are probably ok in small doses for chickens, they'll still get exited about them though....

It is a good idea to feed your chickens Kellogg's flakes of corn every morning. Just remember that this breakfast food was first developed by Dr John Harvey Kellogg back in the day to stop young men and women from masturbating. Therefor NOT giving your birds Kellogg's Corn Flakes may result in your chickens needing glasses.

Yep, Chickassan is correct. Kellogg spent his residency at New York City's Belview hospital where he was traumatized, absolutely traumatized I tell you by the libertarian administration of this mental institution. Or as my favorite humorous Mark Twain once noted, "There are only two kinds of people on Earth, those who are guilty of the sins of Onan and those who lie about it."
