corn from a can....

Hi,

Is it o.k. to feed our hens canned corn? I was wondering if it had too much salt?

Should be OK. Check the label and see how much sodium is in it. If there is a lot, you could pour the can in a collander and rinse off the corn. Bet your chickens will love it! I know mine love it when I thaw out some frozen and give it to them.

Mine like caned corn but LOVE caned peas. I really don't think they are getting that much salt as you drain off the water. I think you would have to give a can each hen to get that much salt

When we have any left over canned corn my chickens get it and they love it.
