BYC Coming Across As Spam?

I'm having a hard time duplicating this. Are other users experiencing the same thing?

If so, please post the device you're using, browser, etc.
I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue. I'm using a Samsung tablet and am using Google Chrome as my browser. On my tablet, I don't have any virus protection (unless it came pre installed and I didn't know it).

It's been awhile, but I got another one:

It was a reaction notification from a PM, and I had gotten two notifications on the same post at the same time. My assumption was they accidentally used a reaction they didn't want to and quickly changed it as this and their reaction notification came in right after each other. (I've had other members do that before, but didn't have any issues.) But I'm not sure that's what they did, or if I just got two separate notifications for the same action.

Another factoid.

I have never had this message on BYC. However, I use Marketplace quite a bit. I purchased from two vendors recently and on messages from one I have had the notice in question multiple, but not all, times. That vendor is very active, the second a newbie. The only time I have encountered it, on a Windows 10 laptop only

I suspect this will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to figure out. The internet is beyond complex at this point, too many developers introducing new capabilities, features, exploits, attacks using knowledge and software capabilities that very few know about.

This is slightly an unrelated question, but I didn't really want to start a new thread because of it. I'm not receiving my push notifications on my tablet, which is the only device I have push notifications on. I keep turning them off then back on to see if that would help, and I get the notification thanking me for enabling them, but that's it. I haven't changed anything. I restarted my tablet to see if it'd help, but it didn't.

I've gotten two this evening. The first one was from a new review on a watched article, and the second was from a reaction in a DM, which is typically where I get them from. On the first one, it has a (3), which I don't know if I've ever seen one like that before. There was also a new comment on that article, so maybe that had something to do with it?

On one you posted back in December, it's got a (2). I bet that has to do with the number of notifications are there at the time. It's way of numbering them?
