Corn muffin mix?

Hi, I have a lot of out of date corn muffin mix and I was wondering if I could feed it to my birds? I have chickens, ducks & geese?

I would say yes but I'm not sure if the can have the amount of sugar, salt, and baking powder that is in cornmeal mix.

This is what I want to know....how can that stuff go bad, unless it's filled with bugs?

The flour in the mix can go rancid and the powdered eggs may go bad. My test is to smell it. If it smells fine, I would add water, cook it up and feed it to the girls. Maybe add some extra treats in there too, like sunflower seeds, flax or quinoa.
