Hi! The ladies are getting ready to graduate to their forever home. We were thinking of putting nesting boxes on top of each other on a corner of a wooden shed (6x8) but I couldn't find any ideas. Iwas thinking cubby holes with complete privacy, starting about 12 inches of the ground with a ladder and small roost to step on when entering/ leaving. It should meet space requirements. What are your thoughts? Anyone tried this?

When I was shopping for shelving to convert to nest boxes I saw some corner shelves and thought about doing this. You're right though, I've never really seen it all of the way done. But I do think the idea is good.....

No reason that wouldn't work as long as boxes are roomy enough (that's if you build them at a diagonal, straight on shouldn't be an issue). You shouldn't need a ladder unless you have breeds that don't/won't "fly," just the perch at the front will do.
