My chicks are 6 six weeks old I have 10 lRainbows and 10 Broilers
It started with 1 of my Broiler chicks with leg problems both there legs are positioned to their outsides and on the ground along with the breast. now I have a 2nd one with the same problem. I am feeding them Meat Maker with grit and water treated with electrolytes. I would also like to know how long I should be medicating their water with the electrolyte water.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I'm afraid I've not kept meat birds befire so I'm not sure on the electrolyte water. Im more than sure if you ask on the meat bird section you will get answers. Here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/21/meat-birds-etc

Wishing you the very best of luck in the future and enjoy BYC :frow

At 6 weeks they should be close to or at butchering size, so you may just want to go ahead and process the 2 with leg problems. Are you restricting their feed at all?

I'd stop the electrolytes at this point.
