Cornish cross chicks

We have read Joel Salatin's book on raising poultry and are ready to start raising some broiler chicks. We live in the Florida panhandle and would like to find a local place that sells Cornish cross chicks. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi From Jacksonville. You can order broilers from hatcheries and there are a few chicken swap meets around from time to time.

I have bought them from Myer hatchery and Murray Mcmurray hatchery. I thought the Murray Mcmurray stock was better, but they are the highest price also. I think myers had a better price.
