We have half a dozen Cornish rocks that we were planning on butchering this weekend, but we found one that died naturally this evening. Is it still ok to eat? My husband was reading online not to eat it

If I don't know what it died from I don't eat it..... and I eat deer that get hit in front of my house and my turkeys the owl killed

I agree with this reasoning.

Is it safe to eat? Probably. I understand the frustration of the lost meat but is your family's health worth a probably.
