Cornish died naturally, do we still eat it??

We have half a dozen Cornish rocks that we were planning on butchering this weekend, but we found one that died naturally this evening. Is it still ok to eat? My husband was reading online not to eat it

I wouldn't want to. I mean, you are saying I found a dead bird outside should I eat it?

I wouldn't. Especially if you don't know why it died or how long it's been dead.

I agree with this reasoning.

Is it safe to eat? Probably. I understand the frustration of the lost meat but is your family's health worth a probably.
