Cornish game hen

That's all I needed to know! I keep picturing my puny Orpington roosters that we butchered. Cornish never really look puny, do they?

Cornish X's are not Cornish game hen killed at a younger age. They are a cross between a White Plymouth Rock and a Cornish Game Hen. You can not breed Cornish X's to Cornish X's and get the same chicken, the breed degrades to an undesirable food source. They are easy to raise, just be ready to butcher between 4 to 6 weeks. You can get the same breed by breeding white Plymouth rocks and Cornish hens.

The terms: Cornish, CornishX, Cornish Game, Cornish Hen, Game Hen, Cornish Game Hen, and Jumbo Cornish Rock Cross are used so interchangeably on these forums perhaps i can offer some clarity.
