Cornish Hatching Eggs

So if I read your pen details correctly, you have no pens with all dark cornish in, right? I am looking for pure dark cornish LF hatching eggs.

those pens have long been mixed up for the summer breeding season.

I do have straight dark cornish pens- but not selling eggs from them.

i have been getting roughly 50% Dark chicks to hatch from the dark males covering the WLR females. Even though the WLR is dominate, those hens are already half Dark.

I will not sell any eggs until fall and laying picks back up, and I'm betting by then- the old hens will be molting; so until this new crop of pullets starts laying good- I'm thinking won't be much to sell over the winter.

I may sell some pure Dark eggs when I start selling again. I think after keeping this batch of dark pullets that I have now- I'm thinking that will be plenty for awhile.
