cornish or leghorn

Bought these two yesterday and for some reason I started to wonder if they were Cornish instead of Leghorn. They are almost the size of my 4 year old Leghorn but they have no comb, waddles and they still chirp like babies. I wanted Leghorns (the feed store didn't say) because they are good layers. HELP! and be nice please. Thanks

I think that you did okay. They are not leghorns - wrong body type and red earlobes (leghorns would have white earlobes); however, they do not look like Cornish X to me. I believe they are white rocks which should be good producers of brown eggs.

My brother asked me if there was such a thing as a white rock. I said "dunno!" He was right on the money and he's not even a chicken owner.
